Tuesday, I'm enjoying this lovely bit of summer, some of the bit and pieces have gone on holiday and stopped complaining. Wonderful! It can last as long as it likes! :o}

Morning both - bit late this morning - actually didn't wake up until 4.45 this morning and had to have some brekkie (under instruction) before coming to this happy place we call work.....

Bit of a sad night in the Yorkie household last night as I had to have the cat put to sleep - reckon it had been clipped by a car and had sustained nerve damage along his spine as he resembled a cornering bendy bus as he walked. Took him to the vets and he thought the same too and as he was giving the once over he also mentioned that his kidneys were severely enlarged and very knobbly and said that he thought the poor bugger was going into kidney failure. He suggested a couple of options but there were no guarantees. After consulting with eldest lad we decided the best thing was to not prolong any suffering. Although i'm not a cat person - i'm going to miss him.

Welshie that is sad. I'm not a cat person, but I don't like to see any animal suffering, or anyone, come to that.

Em - I am under instruction from my GP and the gf to have breakfast in the morning, so whilst I am at home I have bran flakes, whilke at the gf on wed night I have toast thurs morning but at weekends - bacon, sausage, tomatoes, mushrooms, toast, washed down with a rather pleasant cup of Nescafe Gold Blend (other coffees are available) - bloody hell, i'm salivating now thinking of that........................

I couldn't stand by and watch him suffer - unlike the seagull who took Fingers 99 the other week - now that I hope choked on it - that cost me £2!!
