Has any one used it-either as a cream/ gel,or taken as tablets?
Was it effective as an anti-inflammatory?

I use it for bruising. I have used all 3 versions for different things. I am using the tablets at the mo after my op and they seem to be doing the trick.
I don't know if it works as an anti-inflammatory. For that I use ibuprofen gel.
I used it recently because I didn't have any comfrey!

I always use the cream if I bash myself and am expecting a bruise. Applied a few times a day, it eases the pain and prevents it going black.

I have also used the tablets and was advised to do so by the hospital before and after an eye operation. They worked a treat and you'd never have known I'd had the op to look at me. Not a bruise in site and no puffiness.
