My mother's elder sister has always been nasty towards my mother and her twin, and their off-spring - including me. She's always been jealous off how attractive my mother and her twin were and how my grandparents favoured them.

When my Nan was dying earlier this year (when she began to get sick but prior to the diagnosis), my Mum told my Nan to sell her house and go and live with her. The avaricious aunt went berserk and told my Nan to stay in her own home, despite it being quite obvious she couldn't manage by herself. My Nan, despite being very weak, expressed her desire to go and live with my mum and the greedy cow actually sat at her hospital bedside and asked my Nan, "What are you going to do with all your money?" She actually thought that between us, we'd relieve her of her lifesavings and there'd be nothing left to inherit.

I've just found out tonight that when she (my aunt) cleared out my Nan's house, she threw my mother's wedding dress in the bin.

I am not a violent person, but I want to drive up to Wrexham and lunch that woman in the gob !!

Sorry for the gross language, but I am incandescent.

NoM, all I can offer is sympathy. I never cease to be shocked at what families can do to each other during the last days of a loved one. I've been stood in the High Court physically separating brothers from killing each other. My advice is to rage silently. Take it out on something that doesn't deserve it, but won't care - like some dough, the garden, whatever. Then...

My advice is to rage silently. Take it out on something that doesn't deserve it, but won't care - like some dough, the garden, whatever. Then maintain dignified detachment.

I hope that the estate gets sorted out properly, but if the witch decides not to play ball, there are tools in your armour that I can arm you with should it be necessary.

Oh, and now I'll ditch the calm lawyer broccoli. Try not to lamp the witch in the face. Just get a wax dolly and stick pins in it til you are blue in the face. Otherwise, just drink wine...... Hugs. xxx
Oh yes!!! Barmaid's wax dolly! I did it once...it worked!!!!
All the time the money is in the Witch's bank account she is gaining interest...get it sorted.

Lol DT, and thanks BM and everyone.

I will rise above it but won't stand for her giving my mum or the twin any further crap.
People can be very nasty and spiteful. Just let your mam and her twin get their fair share and have nothing to do with her. At least you can console yourself with the fact that your immediate family are nothing like her and she probably has a miserable existence (whilst thinking of all the nasty things you could do to her IF you chose to - Christ, living in Wrexham must be a punishment in itself), x.
There's only one worse thing than living in Wrexham. It's dying in Wrexham.

She lives on Chester Road which isn't too bad.

We all fully intend to completely sever ties with her and her's when all monies are fairly divided. x
You can choose your friends but not your family, this is a sad situation...all based on jealousy.
I did make one of those poppet dolls once, and it worked. Scary stuff !!
NoM this is terrible. what an awful person. would definitley carry out the ploy about the wedding dress and would also make sure the momey and the interest is shared out asap. after that i can't think of anything legal.xx
What a despicable thing to do. She must be a very sad and lonely woman who is to be pitied.
families are the best argument for 100% inheritance tax!
