when i went to the hairdressers, she asked if i had cut my hairv- she showed ne where it is shorter on one side, it appears to be breaking off.
What can i do
I have seen shampoo etc for britle hair, but i have to use shampoo for coloured hair, otherwise it dries out.
Is there a product that would help? could it be because i am approaching the menopause?(I used to have very curlyhair, but now it's poker straight)

Menopause doesn't cause your hair to break, it may cause it to fall out at a greater rate though.
Is your hair bleached/coloured and do you blow dry it and use curling tongs/straighteners?

i have had highlights put in (about a year ago was the first time.)
I use a blow dryer most days but use heat protection spray.
The only thing I can think of that would cause hair to break is damage to the hair caused by chemicals, heat or brushing too vigorously.
