I ask because the soles of feet have been really dry recently, especially around the left heel. I am using an emolient with 30% urea.
thanx in advance

I found the high urea ones didn't really help and made my skin burn. I now have Ureka low urea cream suggested by my podiatrist. Its smells lovely, works a treat for me and you can get it on ebay.

i can only find 25% urea on ebay, i wonder if its just as good?
I found the lower urea content better. The higher urea content creams made my feet burn when I used them...not burn like acid burn or sunburn but very hot and uncomfortable. It was so bad that I had to stop using it. The podiatrist I spoke to said its not uncommon and suggested this stuff which has a lower urea content and soothing essential oils in. It was soothing to use and worked well on the dry split skin.
Why not just buy a pumice stone and rub it off?
Do you still live in Spain?

Norwegian Formula foot balm is amazing.
rub vaseline petroleum jelly into feet at bedtime and wear cotton socks overnight
you cant beat flexitol heel balm buy from amazon cheaper than chemist
I use flexitol, it does work.

(It's tempting to say that if you want a higher urea level, just wee on your feet, but that wouldn't be a very nice thing to say. :-)
boxtops you are right about wee
boxy, it was flexitol that made my feet burn....not saying its not good but it wasn't for me!
I know, but it doesn't sound very savoury
