It is with a grave heart that I have to inform you that my prostate cancer will take it`s toll within the coming year as my GP has informed me there is not much more they can do for me, but as yet I am keeping my spirits up and hope and knowing there are my friends are behind me I will fight on.

Bummer... all the best in the battle I'm guessing you've already been through all the 3rd and 4th line drugs via a major treatment centre ... hope you have many more good days and live can still bring you happy surprises Grab what is left of life by the nuts and wring out every last ounce

So sorry to hear this Carlton! Having had cancer myself and lost my son to cancer, I have some understanding of how you must be feeling. My heart goes out to you. Best plan is to enjoy life as much as you can and make every day, every hour a positive one. Many of us make it through for far longer than the doctors think we will! You seem to have a positive attitude and this will most certainly help to make things easier for you and for your family and friends! I wish you strength, courage and all the love you need to help you enjoy your time! Hugs xxx

So sorry to hear that Carlton, but never give up. My Father in law was diagnosed as terminal with 6 months to live in the early 90's- he finally died in 2009 and not of cancer. You have all of our love and support here.
Hi Carlton? So sorry to hear your news.

What's your latest PSA? Has anyone mentioned Cyberknife to you?

Wishing you all the best. X
Carlton, much love from me and micmak. Remember where there is life there is hope. Doctors have been wrong before. ♥
Love and ((hugs)) from me too carlton ............ you are in my thoughts and prayers tonight x
Carlton, stay positive it is surprising how things change. I was diagnosed with tonsil cancer 2007 had 5 ops and 3 lots radiation in Malta. Returned home 2009 with massive lump on my neck. Was given 3 months to live but offered chemotherapy if i wished. I took it, within 1 week of first chemothepy the lump had shrunk. It returned at Christmas 2011 was massive resting on my carotid artery so no operation possible. Just had a 2nd different type of chemotherapy, got joint pains, falling asleep all time am completely bald (look like an ancient elf ha ha) but the lump is now pea size. I still have 4 chemotherapies to go. I know it will return but new chemotherapy arriving all time. Hoping you, like me, get offered a different type .I am thinking of you, rooting for you and sending you a big positive hug.XXXXX
Hello Bill. I think you have coped so well with all your health problems - you are an inspiration to me. I always find your approach and attitude to life so worthwhile - never let that go. I hope that you and your family will continue to support each other and make each day special. Just keep on doing your best and take what ever help is offered. You are in my prayers x
