....on the subject of being a non-smoker!

It is one month today since I smoked my last fag and feel I have bored you enough lol. I'm still on the old patches and have my trusty e-cig but not a real one has touched my lips.
Just to blow my own trumpet a little more, I am the only one of four of us that all gave up at the same time to have held out... I deserve a medal....no actually Sainthood would not be good enough for me.....hehehe
That aside, I'm healing well, but do still seem to get very tired at the little things in life, I went food shopping last night, all I had to do was push the trolley and point but it took me nearly three whole glasses of wine to recover....shocking!

Hope you are all well

You won't enjoy it, it's probably made from camel milk.
very well done lisa my wife has stopped for 15 months today and she smoked 30-40 a day she has brought herself a new car and well deserved too!!
well done lisa and try to keep it up.... im going for another attempt soon, i managed 3 months and 4 months over the last 18 months and if it hadnt been for some major stress before christmas i think i would have still be smoke free... 3rd time lucky so some say lol :)
Errr, that post was not meant to go here. x
Well done. How has it affected you physically. Any odd symptons, only some people find it harder than others Interested because I really ought to stop.
Eccles - I was really enjoying your surreal answer and trying to figure out what it meant!

Lisa - well done! I know it's not easy - I've been ciggie-free since New Year's Eve. Hurrah!
Well done divegirl. I quit smoking on New Year's Day and went 'cold turkey'. Very difficult and still have moments when I could 'kill a fag'. But determined not to give in although the craving is still there. We will overcome . . . .

lol@ Eccles.... got me thinking too there.... Hmmm, fags made of camels milk... enough to put anyone off!

I should have added 'well done'.

And there was I thinking that the Camel brand was made from their dung not their milk!
All I can say is well done again. I know how hard it is to stop smoking just never ever allow yourself just one... There were times when I had good excuses to light one up and thank god I didn't as I've got through those hard times without them.
Totally concur with coccinelle, never have 'just one' I did that so many times and ended up back on 20 a day. I stopped 5 and a half years ago after 35 years on and off and I'm so glad I did! It's just brill to be free of the addiction and everything that goes with that. Well done to you!!
keep it going gal.....and all of you.
I bet you're tasting that wine a whole lot better since you stopped eh! :-) Well done!! x
Meant to say don't make it your last post if you still need support from here. I don't think it's boring, it's really difficult to beat and I certainly don't mind listening to you!
Keep going Lisa.
Went cold turkey 3 years ago. Only time I want a cigarette now is when I see the adverts for giving up!
The little things in life are the most ennervating.
Rest when you are tired, then enjoy!
Best wishes.

Well done .I stopped 14 years ago when my first grandson was born. Keep going you can do it. Don't waste your money on them and I bet you feel better.
Really well done! I gave up 3 years ago, after smoking 20 to 30 a day for 40 years. I still get cravings, have been plagued with illness since I gave up, and put weight on too, but I would never start again. Well done to you!
