Apparently, the comment was taken out of context, really don't think he came out with that specific sentence.

As for your question, yes it may be the truth, she IS overweight (hell who amongst is isn't?), but some comments can be hurtful, and tact tells you not to say them out loud.
Erm.....B00.........

This is joeluke......I think he was away when they did 'tact' at school.....
Ahhh, fairy muff.
Every man knows you don't use the 'F' word around women, you use the 'C' word........

Cuddly.
Because eating disorders are on the up for young girls. Girls trying to be like the kind of models that he picks.
Lagerfeld is a fine one to talk. He used to be the size of a house.
To be fair to him, he is from the fashion world which is a shallow as shallow can be, judges by appearances and knows no different.
He should still apologise because he was rude and personal.
because it's none of his business?
he's ugly...even though Adele is large, it's a bit rude of him......
I know she's fat.........she know's she's fat......everyone know's she's fat..............now whether he should have said it publicly is another matter.

What has amused me is that JTH has accused joeluke of "lacking in tact"...............kettle?
Jack is normally funny with it JL doesn't even have that saving grace
Erm, I don't know really why, she is beautiful, she does have a devine voice and she is a little bit fat/on the large side/overweight... however you want to say it. A fact I'm pretty sure she has noticed. I guess it's probably a little bit rude and goes with that tact thingy that I'm not good at... I dunno, I'm overweight and would be described as 'a bit too fat', I don't think I'd be massively offended by it, it's the truth.
Its the Mouth in gear before the brain is engaged, I've done it, you've done it, Prince Philip aways does it, what the hell, she's still alive.
Oh c'mon Sqad...

Joe takes pleasure in making women feel inferior on many subjects.

I'm almost certain that Jack does not take pleasure it making people feel inferior. It's just on a needs must basis ;-)
It`s such a shame that female singers are judged by their looks these days (not males - funny that). There would have been no Annie Lennox, no Alison Moyet, no Aretha Franklain if looks/size were taken into account. These days we have lots of female singers who look great, are as skinny as hell, can sing a bit and all sound the same.
I do think male celebrities are also judged a lot more on their looks now (and any other less than perfect trait, I'm thinking Beckham's voice) than they used to be, I don't think it's exclusive to women. Perhaps not as much though.
Adele is a large girl, but apart from occasions when her weight has fluctuated I wouldn't say she was really fat.

that aside, she's a singer, not a model and there's not many about that can sing as well as her, so who gives a flying F what she looks like.
A loose quote from her in this weeks heat mag "i dont feel the need to plaster myself with make up, im a singer not a model". If she doesnt care then why should anyone else?
Celebrity culture innit Chuckles... I agree with you but it just doesn't seem to be how these things work. I'm always seeing these front covers on magazines saying who's put on weight or who's lost several stone on some faddy, and probably unhealthy diet.
But......but......doesn't she realise that if she persists in being over-weight, she'll be willfully depriving herself of the attentions of joeluke.......! <splutter> :o)
A highly lamentable fact Jack...
