I heard the traffic wifie on the Steve Wright show warning of falls of up to 2.5 centimetres with a warning from police for drivers not to go out unless absolutely neccessary.
Has it REALLY come to this? An inch of snow has people cowering in their caves.

About the same just along the M8 from you Euphemia, I can only recall a couple of days with a light dusting.
Now, if you fancy some excitement take the trip back from Inverness over Slochd and Drumochter at night,in a blizzard and -7c indicated.
