I had a fabulous Malbec this week. My FIL left behind a blend from Laithwaites that is called The Waxed Bat. I love the name and am looking forward to sampling it, albeit carefully at a whopping 14.5%

A customer pointed at a bottle of wine in her hand at my till today and said "know owt about this wine?"..."yes" i replied- "it's red", that's my knowledge of wines exhausted for the day.
