Just wondering, Do any of you on AB suffer from phobias? If so what?. I am slightly agoraphobic and claustrophobic.

can't drive myself on motorways and find it very difficult to be driven on them by anyone but Mr Woofgang

That old favourite - spiders !

Plus, I can't bear tomato ketchup, it turns my stomach and makes me feel sick. I feel physically panicked and revolted if I have to sit next to someone with it on their plate - yuck ! ..... dunno if that counts as a phobia or not ? ..... I would actually go as far as saying I'm scared of it.

Balloons!!  My worst nightmare would be a suprise party with a room full of them - I'd run a mile!!  Does that make me a freak?

Gilli, I have the same thing (kind of) but not with Ketchup, but tripe!!  I make it for my dogs, but by god it turns me to the point of retching.  I have to dress up as if I am going into chemical warfare - a towel wrapped over my face etc, and it gets cooked, and shoved out side to cool...*bleuch* I can even smell it now just thinking about it!!

i am afraid of feet... ergh they just freak me out! toes oh my gosh whats the need.... :O :O
I'm a big boy now but I'm with Beth on the feet thing, apart from them looking absolutely hideous, they scare the living daylights out of me. How irrational is that for a grown man ?
I'm in the process of developing one. Driving over bridges, it started recently, with the Perth bridge, white knuckled 30mph in the centre lane 'till I'm over it, all the time imagining drivng off the side. Yeugghhh.

You're not alone or a freak BondGirl. I too have a balloon phobia. Can't stand the smell, feel or touch of them or the squeaky "balloon" noise.

When my daughter was young, I used to always hope we didn't have to bring one home from a birthday party, or worse still decorate a room in the house with balloons.

blood!!!!
I have a very real fear of FROGS! It started when I mowed one down with a lawnmower and the next time I mowed the lawn near the same spot a huge frog jumped on the lawnmower and chased me! I feel sick and go all clammy. I now have to pay my son 2.00 to walk in front with a rake. Unfortunately there are 2 ponds next door and on summer evenings I have to sit with my feet up and can never relax.
I also have some smaller fears bins, milksick. I could go on...........
sorry that should say milk,sick
Ear lobes!! Aaaa they could rip off at any given time! I have been deathly afraid of mine for so long now. Oo and I also have an irrational fear of getting stuck in my clothes and not being able to get out. I am a freak, I know :( Infact the earlobe fear and the getting stuck in clothes fear are linked as when I was younger I often caught my ears on my tops as I was puling them off, so I associate tight clothes with riping my earlobes so I now wear slightly loose clothes instead of a size that actually fits.
Spiders!
I'm petrified of water (not like bath water) lakes and oceans. Cant go near them. Don't know what the name of that is though.
Moths and butterflies. The summer is a difficult time for me !
I'm slightly agoraphobic too, I'm so scared of deep water even watching finding nemo freaked me out slightly when they go deep down in the ocean and find the sharks, all that dark water makes me feel sick and I've also got a knee phobia, I don't like touching them much mine or anyone elses.

Anything without legs - worms, maggots, slugs, snakes, eels, fish, etc.

Or anything with too many legs that lives in water - octopus, squid, jelly fish.

I am also scared of balloons - was my neice's 4th birthday party last week and the kids were chewing them and bashing each other on the head with them.  AGHGHGHGHG!

I've suffered with panic disorder before. I have a phobia that it will happen again. Catch 22!!
spiders and heights.
Have to use the middle lane when driving over bridges and viaducts on the motorway. Used to drive in the fast lane till got caught out on one where each carriageway was a separate bridge - almost crashed the car.
