Whoever mentions that dreaded C word should be shot! I do not even want to think about that yet. We have not got the summer over. Sorry not to be of more help but there are others who feel the same way as I do.
A cottage in the S of England with only 2 bedrooms that stretches to Wales.....that could be one mighty big cottage, aka Palace.
Try this lot, they are quite upmarket but very professional. A close friend is one of their Operations Managers.....and they cover more than Cornwall as you will see,

there are some really nice cottages and barns at Mitchell (central Cornwall, just off the A30 that other ABers have used and liked. Dont tknow if they are on the CC list. Right across the road is a very nice bistro pub, the Plume of Feathers, and their Xmas lunch is excellent - took my mother there last year and very good it was - also they do nice food at the best of time and its a nice interior....they get very busy at Xmas.
Have you tried cottages4you.com?
:-) That sounds a rude site.
The trouble is most people book for a full week, the only thing is keep trying and you may get lucky.
sorry, this is the outfit that you want......

the owner has two other cottages in Flushing - and there is a really nice pub called the Royal Standard run by a young crew close by.....
Well, you know the Christmas tradition. Whoever mentioned Christmas first in the year has to buy all the other ABers a drink as well as a present.

Isn't that right, folks?

ahh that cottage is perfect but when i typed the dates in it says its not available fr 3 or 4 days at that time, and i guess i owe everyone drinks then for bringing up the dreaded C word in september! ; )
lol old geezer goodone
You might even find that you have left it a bit late - I hope not - but people bookall their holidays very early these days!
Cornwall at Christmas is lovely, especially if you get some lovely Winter sunshine. Fresh air, walks, pubs, great food, beaches and countryside. Oh and you don't miss the UK xmas atmosphere. Best site I know of for selection and helpful staff is http://www.cornwallscottages.co.uk
