I bet you were the envy of all the men folk, Paul. :-)
I was indeed, apart from one of her tutors it would seem.. who actually grabbed my bum!! A bit wierd!
What is 'in love'? I bet we all have our own definitions.

When I was young, I used to fall madly 'in love' for about 2 weeks, before I fell madly 'in love' again with someone else.

I love my OH dearly, I still fancy him madly, but I don't get those butterflies and things every time I see him or think of him and sometimes I quite honestly could throttle him.

Seriously though, I can't understand how anybody can be 'in love' with someone they have lived with for years and years. Unless my definition of 'in love' is way off mark.

That's nothing, Paul. One of Bobjugs' crew mates keeps offering him some bum love...
Sqad wasn't there when I started my posting. But I agree with him.
I would be an emotional wreck if I had been in love for all my married life.

Sure is, Cazzz.
I am, and we tell each other everyday how much we appreciate having each other. Cant imagine my life without him. Been together 7 years, married for 4.
exactly what is "madly in love"?
i dont believe you should take each other for granted, but by the same token i dont think you should tell each other every dy how much you appreciate, or love them or cant do without them
'Madly in Love' 'Madly in Lust'. Isn't it the same?

When the lust goes then surely you can't be madly in love.
I'd been so good and had managed not to cry today till I read this question.
Still on honeymoon then ,mrsleeG
Love is a much deeper thing than lust
jan....perhaps you only know that you are "madly in love" when you lose someone....a retrospective emotion?

I think about you , but do't like posting.
Think you could be right Sqad. x
I very much agree Cazz and I believe you can love someone deeply. But the whole thing of being 'Madly in Love' points towards lust more than that deep love.

I was madly in love with Mr LL when we got married. Now I love him for more deeply and with a more meaningful and lasting love. 40 years of washing underpants and socks tends to calm the 'madly in love' down.
