I'm talking about cleaning windows. Here in Wales, it seems frowned upon to pay for a window cleaner, most people round here clean their own. However, in England (where I'm from), it was always the norm (well in my town), that everybody had a window cleaner!

I don't have a window cleaner
I clean my own, but I do live in a bungalow so it's not difficult. I did occasionally employ the services of a window cleaner to do the top floor when I lived in a house because i don't do ladders
Two foriegners travelled 40 miles (round trip) to clean windows in our street. They were good, but expensive (£5.50 for 2 bed house)
You need a ladder to reach my ground floor windows! I live on a hill.
£6.50 and worth every penny.
I live in Wales too, found a window cleaner with difficulty!.....he came once, never arrived again!.......saw him in the street and asked why he didn't come again after a month as arranged, he told me that I was the only customer in the street, so not worth him bothering!........great!....
Do them myself - tight Scot.
Mr Porthole cleans mine once per month for a fiver. I'm looking for a bungalow.
Windows? Clean? In the same sentence? Sorry, does not compute!
I try to do my own, live in a ground floor apartment, but the windows are high and very large!.......so I do struggle with them!..........could really do with a reliable window cleaner!.....
Daily Telegraph works wonders to get a good sheen on the window once you have washed it.

Good for polishing mirrors too.

And you get a crossword or two included..............
£5.50 expensive? Not around here it's not!

Here are the prices charged by one of our local guys:

Oh my chris, I suppose you don't really need to see what the weather is like.
I live in a bungalow but couldn't reach the top half of my living room window (it's a floor to ceiling one)...........the window cleaner charges £4.
My windows are cleaned every two weeks by a window cleaner. Charges £3, though cleaning the frames is very hit and miss.
bargain mick!.......mine charged for a ground floor apartment........£7, and didn't even look at the frames!.......
I need a cleaner as I have 15 windows in a 2 storey end terrace. A local teqm of 2 do it in ten mins for £10 every 4 weeks or so. Bit pricey but I am unable to climb ladders
Pay...10 about every six weeks and he does the gutters once a year
do them myself. I'm lucky that my upstairs windows open inwards
Surely the rain cleans them?
