4. It's my Dad's birthday so we're getting a curry tonight.

It's Maundy Thursday and we used to be given the afternoon off from work but now I have the whole day..:0))))

The sun is shining, I have 12 days off work coming up, a hen weekend in Dorset, a weekend in a converted prison in Oxford(!) Note to self: Must remember handcuffs...

I am well, my daughter's health problem seems to be improving, my first foetus grandchild is blooming & kicking, my friends are lovely & bonkers. And my wine rack is almost full.

My pretty pink nail varnish which is an unusual colour for me to wear but it makes me feel summery.

Erm.... I'm quite cheerful anyway really so don't need a reason particularly and now I can't think of any more!

I'm just in a generally very happy mood today, probs because of the long weekend in the (forecast sun) but also because I've been paid.
I'm young, in love, with money and time to spend and great people to spend it with! What more can a man ask for!

For me....long weekend of mostly peace and quiet...catching up on hobbies etc....and some shopping....sticking diamante on my bathroom accessories...
