Mine is when the young call those 20 years older than them Coffin Dodgers. Grrrr the way they behave they will be gone long before those they disrespect. What do you hate?

When kids today answer everything with "Innit"
"Enjoy" - the command when you are served food.
Beat me to it, nf. Especially when "Innit" is used at the end of a statement.....

The term "Mint" to describe something nice.
I hate the constant use of "you guys" ..............
...............and less irritating but over used is "24/7"
The young ones don't bother me in the least with their new expressions. I'm sure that in the 60's my nan thought I was from a different planet.
At the end of the day....
I say that a lot btw :-(
Wake up and smell the coffee
OMG micmak, I have to be the coffin dodger in chief, but I don't care because I am intent on enjoying what I have left. My pet hate is methinks instead of I think. We are in the 21st century, not the 16th. It makes me grind my teeth.

Leaving the news agent this morning I was 'bumped in to' by a 17 year old ish who said "Out of my way coffin dodger" I am 61 years old. ( I thought I looked pretty good for my age) in his eyes apparently not.
I don't understand 'my bad' when someone seems to be apologising for making a mistake in a previous reply.

Star. You still have teeth at your age?
I hate the term Community Centre or anything to do with the word Community
Question Author
Star. I love you, with or without teeth♥ no offence intended.
have your cake and eat it... Erm yer
Yeah, mic, but not very many. You can grind false ones as well, you know.

How very rude of that young boy. The ones that come round here are very polite. I have not heard any of them use that expression. Of course, I know where they live and I also know their mothers, so perhaps they are just being wary.
I thought that 'innit' had passed into obscurity. I hardly ever hear it these days.

Strangely, MicMak, one of the words I hate most appears in your post! 'Disrespect' is US street slang, which I hate to hear used in this country! (And I know quite a few elderly people who happily refer to themselves as 'coffin dodgers', as I will do myself fairly soon!).

I also hate people who start sentences with conjunctions, so my previous sentence should obviously be regarded purely as a figment of your own imagination ;-)
"so I said to him/her" is now often "I was like that, I was like......" Pikeys.
"working with our partners to....." F**K OFF!!

"working really hard to...." Wouldn't know a day's work if it bit them on the bahookie!
mic - I know you do. And I love you. ♥ Is Mrs micmak looking over your shoulder? Re teeth - bit difficult to nibble ears, come to think of it.
