From my buttock to my knee the pain is unbearable and I`ve tried Paracetomol, 2 every four hours, and rubbed in Algesal, but nothing seems to work for long, what else can anyone suggest? Sitting at my PC hurts like blazes, so I`ll get back in a while.

Thank-you Rosy, I was awake nearly all last night trying to get comfortable and finally found `The Recovery Position` from First Aid was best, and got in three hours sleep. I have been trying ice-packs to-day which gave a little relief.
It sounds as though the chair you use by your PC is not good for your posture.

You need one with proper lumbar support.

I find those black leather manager's chairs rom Argos, PC World or the like are pretty good - even the cheaper ones.

I have an reclining executive swivel height adjusting fully upholstered, with headrest and lumbar support chair, which is the most expensive one from `Argos` about £70.00 three years ago,set at the correct height, so I can`t blame the chair. But thanks Hopkirk.
