Probably a question that the pharmacist can help you with. I wouldnt trust my health to advice on answerbank!
Hi peri.
Rest your voice as much as possible.....if you have to talk, then talk normally.

Drink plenty of water.

Sudafed tablets will help.

By Monday, your voice will be back to normal.

Thanks sqad - am cutting down on pain killers anyway as have been feeling a lot better. I just worry about taking anything with them when I have bad headache or cold. It's going to be fun here today as my 2 girls are home sick also .
peri....Oh! dear. Keep your chin up.

I am taking "her indoors" to9 the club today fro Fish, chips and mushy peas.....it's her treat for her weeks enforced slavery ;-)
Hi Peri...get well soon! Good old buttercup syrup is about the only thing I can take that doesn't make me feel ga-ga.

Sqad - you get tortilla, prawns, crab etc and she gets fish and chips tut tut. Hi robinia - lovely to hear from you as usual - how are you getting on - don't let this cold catch you
peri...her choice....LOL

Robinia...good morning my love, do you make your own Buttercup syrup from those that are grown in your own garden?
I'm enjoying some long awaited lovely weather peri...I don't want any colds thanks, it takes me so long to shake 'em off.
Sqad, oddly my lawns are equal parts grass and buttercups but when I touch them they give me a rash. The price of buttercup syrup is shocking, it used to be about half a crown :o(
It's a bit 'after the horse has bolted' but prevention is better than cure.

I have a book 'Reader's Digest guide to Vitamins, Minerals and Supplemts', it, amongst other things, lists aliments and the stuff you can take to prevent that ailment.

Would you like me to look 'colds' up for you?

Cheers, John.
