I have had an underactive thyroid for over 20 years and take thyroxin every day and i eat ay least 2 bounty bars a week, will they have the same positive effects?
Question Author
dont know about that, according to the directions on the coconut oil you take 3 tablespoons a day, all positive comments about it if you google it, but the taste is vile, rather have the bounty bars.
This may bea silly question-but does it taste like coconut????
I have seen it in healthfood shops....but it is usually in with cooking ingredients
I've rubbed it into my scars - is it the same thing? it does taste vile as dinkydoo says as I've accidentally put my fingers on my lips and licked them
Question Author
I dont think it tastes of coconut, when i was eating it it reminded me of face cream, imagine getting tucked in to a tub of face cream. I am going to chuck it out I cant stomach it anymore.
Question Author
yes it is the same thing as you rubbed into your scars, supposed to be good for everything, skin, hair, liver etc.
Try taking them in tablet form instead, all the goodness and none of the taste! Result!
