Is it possible to have sinusitis only in one side of your face and in more than one of the sinus on that side at the same time?

sounds more like catarrh than sinusitis.. but i know what you mean

I'm not sure whether its catarrh as my nose isn't blocked, I've just got pain and swelling in my cheek and around one side of my nose it's really uncomfortable.
Sounds as if you have an infected sinus, if I was you I would get to your doctor before it gets any worse.
You can ideed have one sided (unilateral) sinusitis, but the swelling of the face would indicate a dental problem rather than sinusitis.
