I just spotted this on the website of our local rag and I just love the way that the estate agent is trying to 'big it up' (or, in this case, 'widen it up').

Quote: >>> According to an estate agent at Flick and Son, photographs make it look skinnier than it is in real life. "It is deceptive because it is so tall. It's because it's very tall that it looks so narrow," she said.

Hi Tony!

My link, together with the last bit of my post, seems to have disappeared!

So the apparent narrowness of the house has got absolutely nothing to do with the fact that it's only 2.78 metres (9' 1½") wide then?

Nooooo, look how tall it is though. And it's on the seafront.
Lol...
And here's me thinking that politicians were ahead with BS. Its the first time I've heard that a camera can make a room look smaller, most estate agents have the knack of making them look bigger.
I had to look simply because I love looking at property. Saw the photo and thought 'what a pretty house'. Saw the price and nearly shocked on my coffee.
And a smidge over 9 feet wide is narrow...very narrow.
i bet it's light inside though
