Picked script up from chemist Friday,
Mum started them yesterday. In lots of pain despite Oxynorm, Gabapentin, and parecetomol in between. Just hoping that these will give her some relief.
District nurse reccommended them, GP agreed, McMillan said no.
GP issued a script anyway & f*** Mcmillan.
Sorry, im off on one as Ive just left my mum begging to die and Mcmillan couldnt care less.
Thanks for reply anyway Sqad, hope they start kicking in soon.

She should remain on her oxymoron or oxycontin until they have started working when the patch needs changing it will be continuous and will just carry on

They havnt Tills, but its mute anyway as she want to die at home anyway.
She knows that shes dying but adamant that she will see her family when the time comes.
TBH It all scares me a little bit. Its pitiful to see her like she is, why dont we have a UK version of Dignitas?
Wouldnt leave a wounded animal like this?

as with all medicines it will affect everyone differently.
24-48 hrs is usual, but it might be shorter or longer. The important thing is to keep taking other pain killers till it works
