Good Morning Early Birds!

Saturday. All is tranquil outside. Cloudy, but dry. I haven't been outside, so can't predict what'll happen. One things for sure, something will! :o}
Domesticity today, I'll get the steam mop out for starters, kitchen floor, then the outside of the windows if it stays dry.
Have a happy day everyone.

I'm fine thanks. (I assume that you are too, as you've not posted your obituary yet).
I've nothing much planned for today, except for sleeping a.m. and picking my washing up from the launderette p.m. (Boring, boring, boring - and probably ruddy expensive too, as I dropped off a small mountain of washing yesterday, which will probably cost me about forty quid to collect today). Oh, what an exciting life I lead!

Hmmm.
I'd find it difficult to find the space for a washing machine and impossible to find the space for a tumble drier to go with it (because, unless I spend months clearing the jungle outside, I've got nowhere to put a washing line).
Further, I'd need to have a proper supply of running water. (I only turn my water on for long enough to fill a kettle or a saucepan. If I leave it on for any longer water will start to leak through my ceiling. I've got loads of plumbing problems that I simply can't afford to fix - I've not had a proper bath or shower for over a decade, but I'm still 'nice to know' 'cos I've worked out a system for washing myself with bowls of hot water).
So I'll have to stick with my trips to the launderette every so often!

I'm weird. (OK, you knew that anyway!) I actually enjoy nightmares. To me, the thrill of waking up covered in sweat and screaming is like what others seem to experience on major fairground rides (which you'd never get me on for a million pounds). Once I've woken up, I can't wait to get back to sleep to pick up on the fear!
Boaty:
I'm actually quite happy with my way of doing things (and my finances will improve a bit next year when I get my State Pension). I'd rather spend the small amount of money that I've got on little luxuries (like the rather nice bottle of Ozzie wine which I'm working my way through at the moment) than on boring things like plumbing ;-)
