HI im feeling all breathless again and I think it is caffeine linked. The last times I have been breathless I have had caffeine. I had 2 cups of coffee today at starbucks and 2 cans of diet coke. I am wondering if that can cause breathlessness? It is like I cant catch my breath. I am not worried as I have had this before and I am still here.

Yes.

That's short as a response, I know, as short as short breath.
Yes. Caffeine can be quite dangerous if you're sensitive to it.
again yes :-)

a friend of mine once told my dad (who was a heavy smoker and was very short of breath) that he should stop drinking coke as it affected the lungs. He did and it really made a difference!

try just drinking water for a week or so and see how you feel then, good luck xxx

If you health is perfectly normal, then my answer would be no, very unlikely that caffeine would cause breathlessness.

However if you have an underlying condition associated with breathlessness, then yes caffeine "might" make it worse.
