I Have Just Lost An Hour Of My Life

I have been trying without success for over a week to contact Npower to ask for a bill. I eventually emailed them to ask for a bill and received a reply stating they had changed the name on my account as requested(?). This morning I took the bull by the horns and stayed in hold...for 58 minutes. I need to go lie down in a darkened room now.

Yes, a zillion options but no message about moving up the queue.
I went a bit OTT with the security questions when I got through. After he asked me to confirm my name, address, phone number, account number, date of birth, name of my bank etc I finished off by giving him my height, shoe size, details of what I had had for breakfast, the title of the book I am currently reading and the number of kids I had.
There was a long silence and then he thanked me for the extra information
