My sister was telling me yesterday that her next door's neighbour's granddaughter of 8 is suffering from Thrush and discharge - anybody else hear of that in a little girl so young.

I was hoping Sqad you would answer - what can be done for it - I know the child is probably attending the doctor but the kid has had it for quite a while and of course never stops scratching.

Canestan cream will settle it down in a week or less.

natural yogurt is very good for thrush as it helps build up the good bacteria

I didn't know that could be the case but yes, it is important to keep a balance of yeast in your body as yeast can cause thrush. I would bring the little one to a paediatrician just in case to see whether it is connected to some vitamin imbalance

This is off the beaten track of thrush - you see "the little one" - she is a real macoy of a brat -Other Posters talking of brats. She actually said to her aunt who was carrying a little baby - "wish I had a knife and cut that f er out". She is 8 years old.

it may be a good idea to check the girls mouth for oral thrush.
