Throbbing pain.....

On two occasions this past few days I have had a dull, throbbing pain across all four of the knuckles on my left hand. When I clench my fist it feels weak and the ache becomes slightly painful. I haven't knocked my hand or hurt it in any other way either so I am at a loss as to what this could be. I am wondering if this is a sign of something more serious developing.....

Could be Gout? i only say this cause mine has returned, although mine is in my lower leg I believe it can occur in any joints!
When I first had it I had dull throbbing aches on my foot but like you I hadn't knocked it or twisted it etc, apperently its a build up of Uric Acid which can be caused by eating lots of certain meats and shell fish!
Try taking some Ibropufen which contain NSAIDs an anti inflammitry drug and see if it helps

Sorry keep hitting wrong buttons.

Nothing obvious or disastrous springs to mind, I am afraid it is monitor the situation with or without Ibuprofen.
