So, how will your day pan out tomorrow? Do you have a set routine or play it by ear?

Lay it on me, whatcha gonna be doin?

Mine will be...up at 7ish with Mini Boo to open presents, she's been warned she will not be getting us up any earlier!!!

Spend the morning, opening prezzies, wrestling toys out of packages, finding we're several hundred batteries short to play said toys. Eating bacon butties (it's tradition!), more than likely trying to retrieve new toys from a cat gob as well as a dog's.

Lunchtime (ish) we're going to my eldest daughter's, to see her and my grandson and to swap pressies there.

Home for our Xmas lunch. No doubt falling asleep in the afternoon.

Evening we're going to our friends for a partaaaay.

And you?

get up at 9 ish open mis stocking in our room, then move downstairs get the food on then open presents.
Watch my husband and daughter play/watch tv till food is cooked, eat food then do dishes and sort a buffet for the evening. Chill and watch tv till late.

Boxing day up early go to inlaws then onto friends for a couple of daysx
Up at 8ish, wake son up and make him eat breakfast. Open presents. Start cooking dinner. Do whatever the heck I want (probably play FFXI) for the rest of the day :)
Hi B00,

I'm hoping for a lie in in the morning so probably be up at 8 - 8.30ish. Feed Little Tiggs his brekkie, feed the cats and have a coffee for myself and maybe some muesli. Then off to my parents around 10ish to open pressies then help mum with food. She will have already got the turke in the oven so I'll sort the veg and trimmings out.

Going to stay there for the evening so I'm taking the Disney Monopoly with me. Little Tiggs has got a bed there so he'll got to bed around 7.

Hope you have a good day B00 and enjoy your party too :o) xxx
Alarm is set for 11 (I'll be up before then, but it's set just in case) then off to parents for dinner, will also be an uncle and auntie there and (strangely) my cousins Japanese wife who hardly speaks any English (my cousin works in Japan and couldn't get back, so it seems a little strange she has come to England). Then off to a mates for a little while, then home for the evening.

So a fairly normal Sunday apart from the extended family being about.

Lmao, chucky, I have wonderful mental images of this little Japanese woman totally befuddled with what's going on round her bitterly regretting that she ever got on that plane!

Hi, all. Up early, let cats out, let dogs out, put kettle on. Get dogs in, feed cats, have cuppa. Have another cuppa, feed sheep, let chickens out & feed them. Have another cuppa. Hopefully by this time, son & his girlfriend will have surfaced, so we can open pressies. Our traditional breakfast is smoked salmon & cream cheese bagels (the late Mr K loved them!), maybe with a glass of champers. Down the local at midday, so see friends, then home to finish cooking dinner. Put chickens in about 4.30, feed dogs & cats. Eat at 6pm (we don't do lunch, prefer it in the evening). A few glasses of wine & then beddie-byes!
You may not be far from the truth there, B00!
Up at 9ish???? With a toddler???

Up when we wake, teenagers :-) open presents...make bekkie (smoked salmon and scrambled egg, on a toasted bagel, with champagne)

Prep veg....visit grandad, mum and his mum....home, put duck in oven :-)
Erm... get up whenever, have coffee, maybe open a little present from someone at work, more coffee, bacon roll, bit of crap christmas telly, start doing dinner and open wine, drink some wine and watch more crap christmas telly, finish off dinner, eat dinner, drink more wine, have a mince pie, open presents (we open prezzies in the evening as it makes the day last longer), give the cat the sock with cat-nip in I've lovingly prepared and laugh at him for a bit, then more wine and probably some eating of cold left overs and fall asleep on sofa.

^^^ NAturally it's not set in stone but I reckon it'll be something like that.

open pressies in the evening CD? Oh God no, I couldn't bear that! I've been wanting mine NOWWWWW for weeks as it is, asking a few more hours out of me is unbearable.

Been there with teens ummmmm, Elder Mini Boo got to the stage where she couldn't even be arsed to get out of bed till lunchtime on Christmas Day, it was 'orrible :-(

And like ummmm asks Tiggs, how do you manage to stay in bed till that time with a little 'un on Christmas Day?
agree with ummm & boo re: firewatch! my son is twelve today and I have bets on him getting up at 5am :/
Question Author
oh yeah, just noticed firewatch said up at 9 too- how do you all manage it with little 'uns? I know fine well mine will be pestering to get up from at least 5am!
Snags says he'll mostly be queueing in mcdonalds if I'm cooking :c(
lol at 9am!!!

my 14 year old son won't last that long!

up at 8ish, the ex will arrive without prior warning, as my son will call him and say "come over so I can open my presents!" I will probably still be in my dressing-gown :o/ sporadic opening of (many) presents. large glass of red for me.

ex is going to pick up my mum at 12, they should be back for 1ish, same time as her cousin should arrive. lazy lunch at 1.30ish.

brother, fruitcake wife, 3 small kids and sick dog will arrive sometime in the afternoon, 5ish.. more food because I'm polite. I can't believe anyone will want anything.

hopefully peace and quiet from 9ish :o)

Up when we feel like it. Leisurely morning doing very little. Mr LL will take dog out for long walk. Son and partner turning up about midday when we shall have a sort of nibbles buffet type thingy and some drinks. Then pressies and more nibbles and things. Christmas dinner about 7.00pm (Roast rib of beef) and probably play silly board games/watch some tele, play some music until bedtime. Son and partner staying the night.

Altogether very relaxed.
