Morning to you sire, I have just taken a blood test and am surprised to see it at 7, and have`nt had a bite to eat yet. Should I contact my BT nurse yet? It`s usally about 4-5 in the morning`s.

Good morning Carlton......7is a bit high, as blood sugars tend to be at the first thing in the morning, but not the end of the world.

Have you normal breakfast but indeed contact your nurse as your insulin may need increasing.

I don`t take insulin sqad, i am on 2mg Glimpiride tab`s.
Ah!..so you are..........my comments remain the same however, replacing the word insulin with Glimpiride.

Friday 27th: I did 4 B`Ts yesterday and it went up tp 12.7 although I kept off sugary foods, and at 7am to-day it was 7.2. I`m so used to it being about 4-5 in the morning`s, and being unable to bring it down via exercise I get a little concerned. I hope to be able to see the `diebetic nurse` to-day.
I heard that my elder brother(aged 79) was admitted to hospital yesterday also with Diebetes. He didn`t know he had it.
