Hi again sqad, I`m a bit worried about my face which since I started taking Dexamethasone 1mg daily with meals, my face appears to be getting quite full in the cheeks area, and I inquired on google and it said this only happens mainly in women which is called `Moon Face`. My GP put me on them 3 weeks ago to boost my appetite which it certainly does, I`ve gained a stone.

carlton.......no big deal.......it is a steroid side effect.
happens to some men too Carlton... good they are improving your appetite are you on any hormone therapy as that can make it more likely
rowan....he said he is on dexamethasone.
I was curious to see if he was on pre existing hormone therapy plus the recent addition of the steroids .
rowan...two lots if steroids? different ones..........?........could be......?
i would guess rowan is talking about one of the implants or the tablets used to stop testosterone

Just saw GP this evening and I am to reduce Dexamethesone to 1mg.
Thanks all for your help.
personally i would rather have a big face than not be able to eat. You have to weigh up the cost/benefit analysis i reckon
