Hi Sqad, For the last 4 day`s I have been getting a sharp pricking in my left shoulder blade, and it is quite painful, just like a needle sticking in me every now and again. My wife has looked to see if anything is apparent but says she can`t see anything there that could be causing it. I have put `Fucidin H cream` on it but nothing helps.

don't think that squad will be around till tomorrow morning carlton, hard to say what may help, but maybe take some Ibrufrofen every 4 to five hours to take away any inflammation and help with the pain, you can aslo take paracetamol every four hours too if it helps!.....but please don't take them any more frequently than this!..........

I do take Paracetemol Capsules for other pains I have, but no joy with this one, and Ibruprofen isn`t allowed as I`m on warfarin.
Morning Carlton....a difficult one.....the Fucidin will be of no help as it is used for skin infections. I just wonder if this could be the onset of shingles, but we will have to wait forbthe rash.
I suppose that the pain only lastsbfor a short time and too late

It does indeed sound like nerve pain and I can only suggest that you monitor the situation and see what transpires.

Sorry.
