Not for me, (ugh) but my friend went and really recommended it. Shesaid it doesn't tickle (like I expected), it's quite gentle and relaxing. She has gone back twice since so there must be something to it.
We've got a shop in town that does it and a couple of people I know have tried it. They all say it feels just odd and sort of ticklish at first but after a couple of minutes you get used to the feeling and it's like a nice little massage. They all said their feet felt great afterwards. The only thing putting me off is the fact that you don't know how many peoples feet have been in that water before yours.
Milly - the place here you have individual foot baths which apparently are emoptied and refilled for each customer
No self respecting fish would want to nibble my feet. I think I will give it a miss.

Count me out. I love fish, but not enough to let them nibble at me. poor fishes.
I found it tickly and although my feet were soft afterwards for a while, i put this down to them being bathed in warm water rather than the fish doing anything. It's a gimmick in my opinion, but a fun one.

So they don't eat away all your hard skin then?
I'm told they put just one little piranha in, to add to the fun.
The latest concerns are the spread of disease - once these fish have had a nibble at my feet I don't think they change the water for you nor do they clean their teeth!
I don't think these fish have teeth - rather they suck off the hard skin. I accidentally went into one of these pools at a mineral springs resort in South China. Have you ever seen a goat scramble up a mountain - well, that was me as soon as I realised what was going on. UGH!
'Ming' - that made me laugh. Totally grosses me out and I can't believe how popular it's become. Apparently there are two or three of them in Hull and we're hardly cosmopolitan round this way.
I would like to have my feet done, when we were in Tenerife they had dozens of tanks of the fish, but i had two blisters on my feet and I didn't want to be responsible for the death of his entire stock.

I am still undecided!
It was very ticklish for me, really weird sensation for a few minutes until you get used to it. Then it was nice, like a little massage. It didnt get rid of my hard skin though at all but I would recommend it for the experience definitely. Wouldnt pay for it again though.
