my aunty is a hairdresser and last year when i was going away she gave me a serum for my hair because its coloured. it prevents your hair from drying out in the sun and stops the clorene from damaging the colour. i found it to be amazing heres the link

Hiya. when I go on holiday I usually buy frizz ease miraculous recovery or something similar like any iontense conditioner, I slap it on my hair before I hit the beach and thats it!! works wonders
Sorry for being stupid, when you say use an intense conditioner, do you put that on wet hair and leave the hair wet or do you rinse it out before you go out in the sun? Having a blonde moment!
I usually wet my hair down, put on the conditioner and leave it on - I put a lot on and put my hair up. If you wanted to have your hair down or anything just put less conditioner on. I throw it up so its not in my way and when you swim its a pain. I wash it out when I return from the beach/pool etc and then I find that my hair is shiny, managable and looks great!! I never do it at home - although I really should as my hair is fab on holidays!!

Thank you for all your help.

Hopefully I will look all shiny on holiday now!
Use Redken Extrems comditioner. After shampooing and rinsing, put a small amount of the conditioner in hair, don't rinse and style as usual or put up in a ponytail.
