Good Morning Early Birds!

Saturday. Yesterday turned out hot and sunny. A lovely day out on the boat. We went down the canal for an hour, moored up at convenient spot, slaked our thirst with a real ale, then set up the barbie and had an lovely lunch while we watched buzzards riding the thermals, with another couple of beers, while we sorted out the worlds problems, as you do! On the way back we passed through the last bridge just before they closed for the night. Moored up outside the house again and enjoyed a coffee with them. An excellent day out.

Today is going to be mundane in comparison!

It was a memorable day emmie.

a bit hot to be honest, its very humid again so i keep waking at these odd hours, which i don't like at all.
still if it means a nice day then im all for it.
friend came over last night and we spent a convivial couple of hours even polishing off the wine we had
started a couple of weeks ago at dinner, which was nice, though i confess i felt a bit tipsy after one glass, i'm such a lightweight when it comes to drinking.

Morning Birdies. Nearly needed your boat up here yesterday "Boaty". Boy did we have some rain for a couple of hours, with the thunder and lightning accompaniments. Bit cooler today but not raining at least.
