Have any of you ladies had this done ?
I was in town this morning and there was a stand in the shopping centre and they were doing eyebrow threading for a fiver .I dithered :)
Does it hurt ? My eyebrows are nowhere near as thick and dark as they used to be these days but I was wondering if it might make them "look" neater and thicker.

Message received .Thanks Woofy .
Thanks woofy.
Shredders here are very expensive about 200€ so I'll stick to my methods (err no I won't I feel sick looking at the mess!) I'll have a look around to se if they have cheaper ones. How did jude manage to soak hers??
I've just googled my mobile no and zilch, nada, nothing.
It's gone (well the first lot!) I got fed up with it, so wrapped all the paper mess in a paper tablecloth and recycled it properly, ahhhh! Still have another bag to deal with, will think twice about this lot and may even let Mr N burn it on the stove (even though it means I have to clean it all out, but after what I've been through that will be a doddle!)
I googled my number and got a photo of a sandwich. Now I'm hungry.
Just had a tremendous storm, so loud and the rain, I couldn't believe it. I said to the cat, Mr N won't drive in this, he'll be ages, then a clap of thunder and he appeared! He said the weather was fine until he got to the bottom of our road, and he could see the cloud and the rain as he drove home. My chip pan is kept outside on a shelf and there is another fridge/freezer there, and the rain had flooded up to the back door, so I thought no way am I treading in that water, might get electrocuted, so instead of frying sausages, I did them in the oven, they turned out OK but took forever.
see, if you'd worn papier mache wellies to the fridge you'd have been well insulated, neti.

Today's trick: type do a barrel roll into your address bar and hit the enter key
Just tried that jno all I got was Bing page explaining what it meant!!!

Before the rain, my laundry room kept flooding, no idea why, but then I noticed the waste pipes under the sink were dripping, shock, horror it's where I burned the paper, so I kept mopping it and then I found that the hand spray was nopt turned off properly, I do hope that is all it was!!!
Mail received thanks woofy...I googled my mobi number and its the ref no of a fabulous place in California. That'll do nicely.

Bloody hell neti, are you working your way through all the elements with that mache? Why don't you bury it under a ton of earth and then you'll have covered every eventuality.

Oh, where's my magnifying glass, I've got another micromail...

Dolls house office shredders half price...

Aaaggghhh!
" A ton of earth??? A ton of earth! " We have no earth to speak of, a bit of muddy clay which even the cats can't scratch up to hide their poo, and the mud is rock solid once the sun is out again. I always thought gardening would be easy if I had some earth or soil. Before Mr N built the patio, we used to have to sweep the earth, no chance of digging it at all.

Oh dear ..poor Neti ..you are having a bad time with this paper mache .
I remember sitting with my MiL and cutting a load of old papers into tiny bits with scissors because they're hot on the old recycling in Germany .We stuffed it all in a bag and put spud peelings on top because one of her nosey neighbours used to check the bins !
Oight Oight ,sleep toight .
Morning all...freshy but sunny and breezy, just waiting for the washer to finish doing a rumba round the kitchen. My sleep pattern seems to have gone west, I think it must have got mushed with neti's mache.
Actually I've had a good idea neti...take a mache body cast and we'll turn it into a pinata filled with maltesers....and then we can all take turns to thwack it with a big stick...

Hahaha Robi, not enough paper for that!

Good morning much cooler now.

Just taken computer tower back to the shop to try to get it working again.
Hi Jude hope you are feeling better.
good morning all. I flaked out watching tv last night, woke up and went to bed. I'd not had much sleep the night before and then no morning kip after walking the dogs because of nice diy man coming so I guess it was catch up.
Hope you are all well.
Went to buy a shredder and the shop had one for 30€ except they had sold out!! So hopefully they have ordered one for me to collect on Thursda, so hopefully I can wait. The bag with the rest of the bills was under the patio but it's got soaking wet

Hija crawled home at 1.35 this am, but is off again in a mo!!!
Pleased to report that the washing machine emptied without any blockage in the pipes from ashes, the two sinks flow freely, the laundry stinks of smoke, the tumble drier is not blocked with mache thank heavens!

It is now rainling, I have made meatballs ([i]Don't you dare mention meatballs film jno!!!!) an so I jumped in the pool, it was lovely, not at all cold!
Bloody italics!!
