Have any of you ladies had this done ?
I was in town this morning and there was a stand in the shopping centre and they were doing eyebrow threading for a fiver .I dithered :)
Does it hurt ? My eyebrows are nowhere near as thick and dark as they used to be these days but I was wondering if it might make them "look" neater and thicker.

well, I've put the rubbish out and it's suddenly gone quite parky, the temperature must have plummeted two degrees at least.

I shall prepare some winter woolies for tomorrow.

I've just followed you out to the bin Jno :)
It's a bit parky here too .Accu say we could have -2C tonight real feel. It's 4C atm on Freddie the Frog .Bit of a drop from 13C last night .
This calls for a warming nightcap and an extra blanket .
Oight Oight ,sleep toight .
Chilly here too with a cold wind. The dogs, who never argue, have just had a good old bicker over an empty plastic bag that had contained dog treats. I think they shock themselves when it happens because its so rare. Anyway I took away the bag and gave them a chew each and peace is restored.
Good morning, yes definitley much cooler last night, I added a throw to the bed.

Oh fancy the pups having a bicker, probably does them good.

Hope jude is feeling better today.

Have to go to the accountants today as Mr N is busy! I just hand over the tax book he adds it all up waffles away about how much we have to pay, I sau gracias and go for a coffee.

I looked at paint yesterday but do not have the range that there is in England, the nearest I can get is Eggplant and pink, don't like them!
hope you've got May pencilled in, neti

First row sold out-thats me finished. I have to be seen!
Morning all...ooooohhhh, the wind's cold, real feel - MINUS 1C! What the heck?! I didn't want to get out of bed today.

lol at the dogs woofy, I bet they were miffed because it was empty so they took it out on each other. I remember Charlie growling & prowling round a 'monster' under a shrub one day. When I dragged an empty plastic bag out and showed him he just scoffed and gave me a look that said 'yeh, well, it might have had a poisonous snake inside and then you'd have been sorry'...and off he went. :)

Haven't you been banned from all front rows yet neti?
Well only banned as in too expensive for me.
Yikes, 40€ for a tin of fuschia paint, 9€ for Eggplant!!

Morning all
Well I don't like this weather one little bit .Cold and blowing a gale although it is sunny at times .Bah ..
Hope you're all ok though .
Mr N's a builder isn't he? can't he get trade prices?
I don't like it either shaney, sitting here next to a radiator with wintery marmite on tst instead of outside with marmalade, tut.

It's blowing a gale and a half here and it's howling down the chimneys and up the lokes .Proper cuppa soup day .What a contrast to the lovely weather we had earlier this week .My feet were freezing I've had to dig out the winter slippers ...Brrrr..
proper autumn day here, bright skies and very windy. the leaves are whirling down. Feeling rich because the gas company has reduced my monthly DD by 10 quid....now.....what can I spend it on?????
Oh have spent 2 and a half hrs shredding, blacking out and trearing into bitrs, athe last bag of his rubbish. 1998 was one of the bills!!! My shredder cost 36€ but can only for about 3mins before it get hot and shuts down for half an hour, it's a rexel! Kept getting blocked and I've had to poke and tug and push with knives, pins and tweezers, so in the end I tore off any relevant info and just binned the rest and shredded the important stuff! Only found hija's spanish birth certificate in there, luckily I went through it!! Two huge sackfuls and I dumped them at the recycling bin but had to put them in plastic bags!! Then of course the floored had to be hoovered
Mr N is a plumber and tiler, not so much painter. Anyway he says he'll come with me and have a look. He is doubtful about the purple/pink that I want. He reckons it's too dark. So advise you lot, there are 3 walls to be painted 2 of about 2 and a half meters (one with the windows in it) facing each other, the other wall is about 6 meters and goes up the side (the opp wall is covered in fitted wardrobes). Now it is the 6meter wall that I want purple/pink a darker colour and the other smaller walls a lighter colour, now that should work don't you think, the one darker wall won't make the whole room dark will it???
and our bed is right in the middle of the 6meter wall.
Question Author
I don't expect it will make it look darker Neti . You can have the other walls lighter and have some pictures on the darker wall to break it up .Mind you I'm no expert on colour schemes whatsoever.
Have you boogered up the shredder ....watch you don't put anything through that has staples in it or it will jam .Ours is a Rexel and it's fine .
It's bloomin' awful here ,we've got flood alerts and there are trees down .
Thanks shaney that is what I thought. I have already got the pictures, I photocopied one of the pillow cases in different positions, so they are all different but all matching the bedding, brought over 3 black framed frames from the £1 shop.

Yes I was aware of the staples so avoided that problem. What a relief to have gotten rid of all that paper, I did enjoy shredding it.
New bedding and photos are white with black and grey flowers.
