Twelfth Night

What date do you take your decorations down by (if you haven't taken them down already!). Do you count Twelfth Night as the evening of Jan 5th (I do) or do you count it as Jan 6th which is the Twelfth day of Christmas?

If my tree hadn't started to fall apart I would have taken it down on Jan 6th.

Well,as the 25th of December is the First Day of Christmas...have a look at this handy website which tells you all about the 12 Days...

So,the 12th Day is actually this coming Wednesday 5th January.
Oh,by the way, we've taken down our decorations already.

Thanks! I read the link-thanks imhotep- and also googled it and found more info. Seems both dates are used-very confusing! Mine will be down before the evening of Jan 5th as usual - dont want to risk bad luck! Happy New Year to everyone.
