i have a galaxy 2.3i,which has just failed the m.o.t because the abs light stays illuminated.I had the same problem last year which turned out to be the sensor ring. All was fine until earlier this year when i had a blowout and rather foolishly drove a fair distance so i could get off the road and out of the way. This damaged the suspension strut which i had sorted, but a short time after, the abs light came on again.I have just replaced the sensor but this has not solved the problem, would anyone have any ideas as to what else the problem may be, i would be extremely grateful for any help with this one. Thanks in advance for any help.

Have you checked the sensor wire itself bronners?
I know of someone who had a similar problem on his Audi. Not wanting to fail the MOT – he removed the ABS lamp. Result - MOT Pass.
The sensor has it's wire attached. Recheck the connections in the wheel arch area.
It may need the error stored in the ACU wiped by WDS or a Scanner.
At the same time, it can check for any new errors.
