You could check-out Alexander Couzens (1717-1786) on Google. He was an English landscape painter who devised a technique of using ink blots to generate ideas (way ahead of his time). You could do something very original, which combined landscape and abstraction. Good luck!
what about a New York skyline using cerial packets to make the skyscrapers and silver paper for the windows. thats what i did (but then again i was only 7 and at primary school)
