In the late 1940s on Children's Hour there was a serial about a family of boys and girls and their adventures. The stories were taken from books and my parents bought them for me. I am almost certain they were not Enid Blyton, but somewhat similar. The authoress ,I think, was Kathleen somebody. The only detail that stands out in my mind was that their mother was a GP and the father away somewhere abroad. The BBC could not help me! Any ideas?

Thank you RogK. The web site you gave is, unfortunately, out-of-date and it asked me to inform you of the fact. I shall try the other route and/or an email address I have managed to obtain for Whirligig. Thanks again.
