A ST puzzle compiler states that Holmes would meet the occasional client at the Durrant Hotel - especially those who shied away from calling at his home. A Sherlock Holmes expert doesn't think so.

Would any AB reader of Conan Doyle care to opine, please?

With many thanks. Lm

In the original stories up to his death, this does not happen.

However, I have not read the later ones in at least 20 years, so it might be there that he meets his clients in a hotel.
