Not just the Swiss, The Italian and the Spanish supermarkets are the same.

unable to walk far i can't get to my local sainsburys
this is shocking and it's only the first week of the
shutdown
emmie can you not order a home delivery, although not everything may be in stock. Some supermarket shelves are almost empty.
have the order on line open permanently no slots so far for three weeks, they only go up to first week of April.
Home deliveries are not available. Mine is due on the 14th of April and I usually get 1 or 2 a week.
took a walk around my local waitrose yesterday and the place was almost empty, as there was little on the shelves, waste of time...
Emmie - There are Buddy Systems, and community groups apparently in the Capital.

I feel sorry for you.

Switzerland has a population density of 567 / sq mile. England’s is just over 1000 / sq mile which is a factor.
yes, its the same for NZ. I don't denigrate their amazing results but the population is so much less dense, even in cities.
The British are quite capable of shaming themselves without any foreign help thank you very much.
Perhaps those who showed their true colours in the Q Spicerack linked could help with a few donations.

“Hoarders” Sounds quite quant - but for hoarders panic buying selfish asreholes.
I'm same as you, emmie.
Nearly 80 - difficulty walking. I always have to use a Rollator when out which does help when shopping. Can't get porridge for love nor money.
Should be isolating but there are some things more I need. What you have in now will only last for a couple of weeks and then what.
I have a son but his partner is a nurse at the local hospital and we have decided to keep away now .
Very worrying times.
Deskdiary - scum of the earth I call them!
