I've never read it Pasta - might give it a try.
Me too, haven't read it yet.
Judging from the title, think I could do with a visit from the doc at the moment.

I dont think it's referring to a short sleep, O-G...;)
It's actually been out since 2013 - I got it on Kobo a couple of years ago & thoroughly enjoyed it - might have a re-read... :-)

Ohhh...and there I was thinking it was new.
Think I may buy it.
It is a brilliant read, pasta, and brings us right up to date with 'young'Danny. I read The Shining immediately prior to reading Doctor Sleep as a 'refresher'. If you haven't read The Shining (Kubrick's interpretation was different to what King envisaged) i would suggest you do so.
Well the film sent me to sleep. I hope the book's better.
I nearly always find the books better than films or series. When reading the book, it is your own imagination that conjures up the pictures.
It scared me so much in the original book i could barely breathe.
The film 'The Shining' is no where near as good as the book. I had read the book long before the film came out, I found the film disappointing.
Like you tony, had loved the book and expected the horror to play through from the book!
it's not his latest (published 2013) but a film's just been released.
In my opinion and experience the film is rarely as good as the book as you have your own ideas about it.
