My. iPad is constantly trying to do updates. The latest one I OS.1.1 says it's for portrait camera for iPhone 7 Plus (beta). Public transport directions for Japan, stability improvements and bug fixes.
How do I stop this constant attempt to update. I knock it off, try to do something and again it is trying and knocks me offline.
I do not want nor need transport info for Japan or any other country.
Please someone help me.

I'm sure that Chris or one of the other techies will know how to stop it, Caran.

Mamya what a performance. It looks like there I should no way to stop it permanently apart from losing wifi connection. It says the best method is to keep saying remind me later. This is so annoying.
Oh sorry, I very rarely get a message about updates and simply tap remind later, often it's days before it does it again.

Thanks for the info anyway Mamya. It really drives me mad. But I'll just have to remind them later again and again!
Caran, just let the update happen when you're not using the iPad. It only takes a few minutes and will save you hours of getting the hump with the thing.

I've done that rockyracoon, and it changed a lot of things,so I don't want it to happen again.
Caran, if you don't do the updates (which I only get every couple of months by the way) you risk compromising the security of your iPad and will eventually make it obsolete.
