Strange rash

I have a strange little rash just under my belly button. At the moment its about the size of a 5 pence piece but it was smaller then that before (its getting bigger). It doesnt itch or hurt. What could it be? I havnt worn any new clothes that may have rubbed that area.

milly do you wear belts because my sister got an awful rash from a belt she now has a small scar!! i dont know how it caused a rash but it came from the buckle as the rash was the same shape!! best thing to do is put loads of sudacream on it!!

I know i'm a bloke, but I think what I have to say is relevent, and the answers about the belt are probably right, some years ago I had a Hernia op, and ever since, I can't wear metal.(belt buckle) next to the skin at the waist area, I come out in a rash, which after a short time opens up. Sometimes, for whatever reason, your body metabolism changes.

Could be what they call Nickel Allergy milly.That's if the belts were next to your skin.I get this from the studs and buttons on jeans .How strange that chessman mentioned this occuring after an operation.I used to be able to wear things with nickel
eg.costume jewellry,earrings etc but after an op came out in a rash if I wore anything with base metal in it. .I can't wear silver either.If it does start to itch try Lanacane cream.
