not at paintings as such..but at photographic exhibitions...check out james nachwey, the war photographer, for some full-on tears.....

I am absolutely a limp dishrag when I look at DOGS PLAYING POKER it is so moving that I just want to go and kill myself

Collecting a special little person after their first day at school, I had a painting thrust into my hand and was told "I dun this for you".  I've seen many beautiful works of art, but that picture still makes me well up!

never cried after seeing a work of art, but having seen some of the prices charged for 'art' i imagine some people have cried after buying a piece
