I am currently reading "Nineteen Minutes", by Jodi Picoult. It is very good.

It is about a boy who shoots a number of students in his school. ( Like the Columbine shooting here in the states a few years back.)

It shows how the boy arrives to this point and decision by chronicling his earlier school years. It flips back and forth in time a lot.

I am about 1/4 of the way through it and it is quite good.
She also wrote "My Sister's Keeper", which was excellent.

I have read some of her stuff including "My Sister's Keeper" which was very good.
I haven't read "Nineteen Minutes" but I read Lionel Shriver's "We Need to Talk about Kevin" which is the same subject matter and that was an excellent if somewhat disturbing book.

I finished 19 Minutes. It was very good. It had a good shocking ending. Hope you enjoy it if you read it.
The ending was a surprise, is there any more o fhers you would recommend?
nineteen minutes was actually my least favourite of all of the Jodi Picoult books I've read. I loved My Sister's Keeper, Plain Truth, Salen Falls, Perfect Match and Vanishing Acts though. She is such a good character writer and really makes you feel the story.

Bit of a fan of hers!

I read My Sister's Keeper and The Tenth Circle also. I have a hard time getting to the library timewise, but will have to check out more of her books.
