When the Boaty came in.
It's cloudy here this morning, but still warm, I went out in shorts and tee shirt. Not a pretty sight later in the day. Well; not a pretty sight now, but I don't give a toss! :o}
All is well in wildlife land. The sentries are out at the rookery. They take post at sparrowfart. The badgers were still coming in from their nightly foraging. The older ones snuffling around the sett waiting for the youngsters to come in. Making sure it was me, so they didn't need to scuttle off down the sett. They have no road sense whatsoever though. But there are no roads that close, so they don't have a high casualty rate.
The foxes were out roaming their patch, they too made sure it was me then ignored me. :o} The small roe deer were on their way back to woods on the hill. They are such beautiful little chaps. I didn't see the squirrels this morning, probably still asleep, good plan! :o}
Foxy was in early this morning, a party going on next door, so he couldn't get in before 2. Tiggy was in though, he and his mrs. live in my back hedge, so didn't have the problem. She was with him and they did the tour of the garden again, stopping at points of interest to hedgehogs, before getting to the ham trimmings they like so much, tiggy making sure mrs. got the best first, then cleaning up the rest when she'd had enough.
Floors to be washed then games to be watched today, after a wee bit of shoplifting.

Morning WBM xxx and all I had to get up about 5 too hot could not get back sleep . Jobs will get done early plenty to watch too the finals of the tour de france which has been good and some of the fantastic scenery and of course the grand prix, Have a nice day all. Just wish it would cool down a little moan moan moan lol,

It was hot on the canal yesterday, a lovely party though, a 60th birthday. The birthday boy was stitched up like a good'un. He had no idea what was in store for him. Apparently, one of the conspirators 'let slip' that it was lunch at the Stables, to explain why at Saul. He got out of the car then saw the boat done up like a christmas tree. We could almost see the penny drop! Wonderful! :o}

So far boaty ...was up doing dad's garden yesterday..he was much improved...taking him into hospital tomorrow to see a specialist about the diabetic associated problems with his feet and will stay over as I'm doing some painting for them around the house and then Wednesday I will be attending a funeral of a friend of mum and dad...so will be home probably Thursday night...sister is coming from Singapore on Thursday....dreading it as she always meddlesome and tries to take over when she doesn't know what's what...we always fall out !
