P D James ‘Death comes to Pemberley’, lauded as ‘the’ number 1 bestseller, and as ‘A wonderfully assured follow-on to Pride and Prejudice’.

Dire! P D James is no Jane Austen! One for the charity shop!

The Bible. The plot was too thin and incredulous ;-)
Steve Wright autobiography.
I think I managed about six pages of that and I like both P D James and Pride and Prejudice. Luckily mine was a library book.
almost didn't persevere with Casual Vacancy, really wanted to ditch it but kept at it, load of garbage but she can afford to never write again, which is my best hope
The Da Vinci Code - rubbish!
My diary, thank Icke :-)
I recall hurling a book across the living room and then stepping on it as I walked by because I was so disappointed with it and the author repeatedly used 'gotten'.
Can't remember what it was or who the author was but I can normally read anything.
Except the Bible.
I've got loads, naomi.

Autobiographies of Freddie Mercury, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Danny Baker and Graeme Swann. A book about the history of Blackadder. About 10 comedy paperback books by Tom Holt. A couple of books on Cricket.

Just a few...
oh and one of the latest richard and judy books, jasmine nights, nothing happened and the book was getting nearer and nearer the end and still nothing happened and so i've given up on it
'Three men on the Bummel' by Jerome K Jerome, it was boring. This surprised and disappointed me because his 'Three men in a boat' is one of my all time favourites.
I'm trying to write a book on moggies - I fear that it will be unfinished.
50 Shades Of Tripe for me.
Mine was The Notebook. I couldn't see the pages for the tears and eventually gave up; too welll written in my opinion!!!
I hate to say Pride and Prejudice, The Kon-Tiki Expedition, Kes but I was at school.
The Da Vinci Code ..went back to the charity shop after the first chapter .
Shadow of the Wind ...Ditto .
I did finish Jasmine Nights, not as good as her previous books though.

Dr Zhivago, and not much else - because I always look in a book before I buy it or borrow it, and if I don't like the look of it, I won't start it. Oh - and The Journeyer - about Marco Polo and China - because it has some particularly gruesome pages on torture in it, I had t get rid of it because I kept being drawn back to those descriptions in some awful fascination.
The one by Dawn French that was written as a series of letters. Just couldn't get into it.
boxtops I was a bit like that with American Psycho. It was vile yet compelling.
