I'm trying to download Adobe Flash Reader. I go through the exact process stated, click install & then after the green bars have finished, an error message appears saying failed to install & I haven't got a clue why.
I think I've deleted any existing Adobe stuff from My Computer.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated, but must be in simple, simple terms please.

I personally wouldn't bother with adobe reader

It is far too large and takes far to long to load for what it does, I always install the free foxit PDF reader which does exactly the same thing, takes up less room on the hard drive and loads far quicker.

Thanks Chuck, I have downloaded foxit, however, I wanted Adobe to view clips on youtube, but keep getting the following message.....;

Hello, either you have JavaScript turned off or an old version of Adobe's Flash Player. Get the latest Flash player.

Any further advice would be appreciated.
oh, sorry, got confused.

There is adobe flash player or adobe reader which are totally different things (I saw adobe and reader in your question and got the wrong thing)

what version of windows are you running, and are you logged in as a administrator account?

OK sorry to be soooo dum...the PC is running Windows XP & I don't know what you mean by..."and are you logged in as a administrator account?"
only look at solution one for now. don't touch solution two at the moment (or if you do on your head be it)
